Rakesh Saha Inducted into BJP Under Suvendu Adhikari's Leadership

Rakesh Saha, an entrepreneur and social worker, has been inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party. He joined under the leadership of the Leader of the Opposition, Shri Suvendu Adhikari, ahead of the Parliamentary General Elections and the Baranagar By-election.

Before this, Saha managed the Baranagar Assembly constituency under the AITC/TMC for nine years (2015–2024), where he supervised organisational frameworks, managed operational deployments, and led grassroots mobilisation across the assembly constituency.

His entry brings two decades of public engagement and a business track record in hospitality to the party's Bengal organisation.
